Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using the https://mukundhatravels.com website (the “Service”) operated and managed by Mukundha Tours and Travels (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Service.

By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time without prior notice.

1. Information Submission

  • When submitting business information on our website (to be listed or updated), you confirm that the information is accurate and not submitted without the business owner’s consent.

2. Pricing and Cost Changes

  • Final tour/service costs are subject to change due to increases in government taxes, entrance fees, fuel costs, guide charges, etc.
  • Prices displayed on the website are tentative and may vary depending on package availability, season, and number of travelers.
  • Some packages require a minimum number of participants for the listed price to be valid. If not met, the cost will be adjusted accordingly.
  • Prices listed do not apply during peak seasons, public holidays, long weekends, or festival times.

3. Unforeseen Circumstances

We are not responsible for delays, alterations, or additional expenses caused by:

  • Natural hazards
  • Flight cancellations
  • Accidents
  • Equipment or transport breakdowns
  • Weather conditions
  • Political closures
  • Strikes or riots
  • Civil disturbances or other unforeseen events

4. Privacy Policy

  • We do not sell, trade, or disclose your personal information to third parties, except when legally required or in case of imminent harm.
  • Suppliers may access your information to confirm bookings and provide the services you’ve requested.

5. Insurance Disclaimer

  • We do not provide insurance for accidents, illness, theft, or loss. Travelers are advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance in their home country.
  • All personal belongings and baggage remain the client’s responsibility at all times.

  • Images on the website are for illustrative purposes only and may not reflect actual conditions.
  • Linked websites are not under our control. We are not responsible for their content, updates, or policies. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

7. Discounts & Offers

  • Special discounts for Senior Citizens and Ex-Servicemen are calculated from the sales price and require valid ID proof.
  • These discounts are not applicable on Luxury Tour Packages and are subject to availability.
  • Offers are non-combinable—only one offer can be used at a time.
  • Discounted prices may vary depending on the season and availability.

8. Pet Policy

  • Pets are allowed only with prior approval. Without prior notice, pets will not be permitted.

9. ID Requirements

  • A valid national photo ID with address is mandatory for booking.
  • Office ID cards and non-government IDs are not accepted.
  • An emergency contact not traveling with the group must be provided at the time of booking.
  • We do not arrange tours for unmarried couples.

10. Booking & Payment Policy

  • Advance payment of 50% of the total tour cost is required to confirm a booking. The remaining 50% must be paid on Day 1 at pickup.
  • We accept payment via online banking, UPI, or wire transfer for international clients.
  • Bookings are typically accepted at least 7 days before the trip (not applicable for vehicle rental).
  • Tour bookings are confirmed only after receiving:
    • Advance payment
    • Valid ID proof
    • Emergency contact details
  • A booking receipt will be issued in the name provided on the ID proof and associated phone number.
  • Itineraries cannot be changed after confirmation. All package pricing is based on the shared, optimized itinerary.

11. Tour Package Policy

  • Packages include accommodation, cab transfers, tolls, parking, permits, and checkpost fees.
  • No hidden charges—all costs are clearly mentioned.
  • Requests for additional rooms, mattresses, etc., will incur extra charges if available.
  • Changes to hotel or vehicle types cannot be made after confirmation.
  • Any additional people not listed in the original package will be charged separately.
  • Badging: Vehicles may display partner/vendor branding instead of Mukundha Tours & Travels, depending on availability and vendor arrangements.

12. Vehicle Rental Policy

  • Rentals include vehicle rent, driver allowance (batta), parking, toll, and maximum kilometers as per the quote.
  • A/C is provided only while the vehicle is moving, and typically not in hill stations (except Wayanad).
  • Driver accommodation is not included; the client’s accommodation should have safe, nearby parking. Otherwise, extra kilometers will be charged.
  • Vehicles must not be used off-road, except Jeeps.
  • E-passes are arranged for Ooty and Kodaikanal visits.
  • All payments must be made via online mode.
  • Vehicle rental duration (8–12 hours) may vary depending on the city and will be specified in the quote.

13. Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you need to cancel your tour or booking for any reason (avoidable or unavoidable), please inform us in writing.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
  • In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with our services, including any questions regarding its existence, validity, or termination, such dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
  • By using our services, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Coimbatore for the resolution of any disputes.

15. Child Policy

  • Children below 5 years: Complimentary
  • Children 5 to 11 years: 50% of adult price
  • Children 12 years and above: Full adult price
  • Age proof is required.
  • Child policies may vary depending on hotel policies and will be confirmed after booking.
  • Child policy not valid during festivals and long weekends.
